Coombe Barton Posted September 12, 2019 Share Posted September 12, 2019 This came up on Facebook For anyone living in the area, there's a Public Meeting on the future of Ashburton station on 25th Sept, 7.30pm, at Ashburton Town Hall. The public meeting is has been arranged by the Ashburton Neighbourhood Plan committee and is primarily Ashburton-focussed. The meeting is an open meeting however and it will be an opportunity for anyone living in Ashburton or the surrounding area who is interested in the historic buildings and the potential rail-link to hear about the development work by the promoters of this page that has been quietly going on behind the scenes over the last few years.
