NCE Cab 06

Evening All

 

As a recent convert to NCE after many years as Gaugemaster Prodigy User I need a little help.

 

I have the standard NCE system which works fine.

 

I have recently purchased of a friend the NCE  06 Intermediate Cab

 

I wish to operate a series of macros as I use on the main throttle to operate point sequences.

 

Looking at the Cab06 user guide mentions macro in the Appendix A

 

And that’s where I get lost......

Terry, set up your macros with the Powercab but they can be activated then from your Cab06. I think its shift button twice to get to macros.

I’ve got two of the Cab6’s. Hadn’t realised they could activate my macros. Thanks.

Ive tried it this morning  and it works fine.

 

It will make operating Camel Quay much easier ( Next outing being Kendal in January)

Good stuff, I don't mind using the Cab06, my operators aren't keen though and stick to the Powercab.

I have got a second Powercab but the macros  on that one are set for Oil Drum Lane so to be able to use Cab06 is ideal and can be used on Camel Quay or Oil Drum Lane without the need to reprogram all the time.

 

I bought the Cab06 secondhand of Mudmagnet

We will be running Whiteacres in the BR Steam / Green Diesel era for a change.

Hi Terry,

 

You didn't initially specify which NCE system you had (there are at least three that NCE make).

There are about 8 different throttles.

The handbook says Rev 1.65  and I presume the current model

Yes but I was referring to NCE DCC systems eg Power Cab, DCC Twin and Power Pro (5 and 10 Amp).
