Got a fair bit on the bench atm so trying to batch paint when I can saves time and money cleaning airbrushes ......... Lovely stuff as always Jerry Ben These are all renumbered and renamed. You’d think they would be all the same but there’s different placing of plates, data panels and on some where they put the numbers- nice project though. Apart from weathering I haven’t really got a batch of any particular loco at the mo so going through airbrush cleaner faster than cups of tea 1

Squirrel Rail
Busy day today, first up following on from the roofs it was time to add the washes to the sides and cab fronts on the 87s Followed up by a prep of a mk3 before a coat of primer This afternoon was this lot- sound fitting time And then with a fourth I did last week- I would have posted the video I took but it was 24mb! 12 1
Squirrel Rail
Way back in my thread I showed the build of the Type 19 signal box and today saw the finishing touches before it has gone home to it's owner. It's quite an expensive kit but goes together really well so here it is: ( Note the steps aren't attached for ease of packing and posting!) 13
Squirrel Rail
Back to the HST prototype today with the yellow ends going on, it is rail grey its just the light making it look beige! The 87s have also been receiving attention with a start made on the front of 016 - all a bit stark at the moment but will blend in as I add more colours and the airbrush work 11
Squirrel Rail
Another long term project has been 90034 which had been waiting for me to reassemble it and do the decaling and detail painting . This one will be weathered but thought I would grab a couple of pics of it before it gets dirty!

Squirrel Rail
The HST - P has now had the blue bands added - have used masks to get the grey BR arrows but cant remove them until the paint is a bit harder so that will be squeaky tail time... and looking the other way

Nice idea! The 50s and the signal box are going to a NSE inspired layout whilst the 87s will be joining the other ones I have done for operating virgin push pulls on a different one. These 4 complete the fleet which has a been a great project researching them to try and create 35 individuals out of one base model. Hopefully I will complete them this week so there should be some pics!

Kind regards, Will The weathering all over needs completing, need to do some detailing on the ETH and pantograph- just the bits that make it stand out. Did you do 024 on a Bachmann 90 or a Hornby one? I’ve thought about doing it myself! Cheers Jerry
