Marky B
Hi All, I'm building a 1990's ficticious china clay branchline in 4mm EM gauge. Things are falling into place nicely, with the re-release of the Dapol "Silver Bullets" and The EFE Tiger Rail PBA's. I would obviously like the Class 50 50149 "Defiance" to be present on the layout, however, seemingly, I've got more chance of becoming the next Pope than finding the Hornby offering! So, my next alternative is to buy another class 50 and respray it. Now, I know the real loco had modified bogies in the form of them being lower-geared, however, my question is, were any modifications made to the bogie frames, or were they just as the rest of the class? Thanks in advance for any help. Regards, Mark Edited September 9, 2020 by Marky B Spelling mistake
RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted September 9, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 9, 2020 (edited) I believe in terms of physical external appearance, 50149's bogies were identical to the 49 others.
