KS Laser design retaining walls

Recommended Posts

What exactly are you asking about them?

I cut my own, having bought a laser cutter to do some more authentic tunnel mouths. Mine are therefore exactly as I felt they should be for my layout.

Laser cutting is as good a way as any to make walls. It is more suitable for low volume items than injection moulding or vacuum forming.

I dont think they make long lengths, they are modular in design.

This is what I was looking at - I'm just weighing up options at the moment

I know Lcut do a "modular"  range of arches as well.

Sadly I have neither the kit or skills to make my own :)

I'm interested in how easy they are to work with, how they take paint and weathering , how they look and how robust they are once in place.

MDF laser kits are very easy to paint. I recommend a spray with primer first. I have instructions on my website http://intentio.co.uk/painting-tips/
