RMweb Gold Harlequin Posted November 26, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 26, 2020 (edited) Hi everyone, greatwestern.org.uk is a great site for those interested in the GWR but I notice that it hasn't been updated for a long time now, there are some dead links and it's style is a bit old-fashioned. I'm worried that we might lose this valuable resource if no-one's looking after it. Names mentioned on the Home page are: John Daniel (copyright holder), Eric A. Meyer of CWRU and Neil Johan. Does anyone know if these gentlemen are able to update and maintain the site? Thanks, Edited November 26, 2020 by Harlequin
RMweb Gold nickwood Posted November 26, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 26, 2020 (edited) That link doesn't work, do you mean gwr.org.uk ? GWR.org.uk was last updated in October and has had a number of updates this year. edit: just typed in the url and realised you did mean greatwestern.org.uk and yes I agree. Sorry don't know the current situation. Edited November 26, 2020 by nickwood Correction

JimC
I've tried and failed to contact Mr Daniel in the past, and the site has always been sporadically updated. He's obviously paying his bills. There's no risk of losing it because archive.org! 1
