Today i got a preowned class 20 with sound.

Sounds good but i dont have the function list

The box has a sticker on it that says ESU loksound 4.0 Merlin DCC Fitment Southwest Digital File.

Well ive already got 20s with SWD files - one from the Permenant Way set and one from the Whiskies Galore Set. The one I got today sounds different to both. It also sounds different to the TTS one i have also.

Any ideas - what does Merlin DCC fitment mean? Quick google reveals nothing?

From a quick internet search, it looks as though there is (or was) a company named 'Merlin DCC', which is owned by Steve Brammer (https://www.linkedin.com/in/steve-brammer-bb9007100/).  It's potentially one of his sound files that was marketed through Southwest Digital at some point.

Steve never did his own sound files as far as I know, as he never mentioned this to me.  Charlie
