RMweb Gold ikcdab Posted August 23, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 23, 2021 I am just putting one of these together. excellent kit. I have made up the steps and bent down the tabs for hook and bar couplings, see circled below. However these tabs prevent the chassis dropping in. The chassis has to go under the tabs, and of course you can slot in one end, but then the other end can't pass the other tab. What have I done wrong or how do I get round this? RexAshton
Can you file the rear chassis/ web spacer (part 28) back allowing you to slide the front of the chassis in and drop the rear end in? It looks like it might clear. I'm building one in S4 but I'm not using tension lock couplings.

What pickups are you using?
RexAshton
I'll be using Alan Gibson plungers. They're very effective but might be a tight squeeze if you're working in 00.
