RMweb Gold Mr.S.corn78 Posted May 11, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 11, 2011 Hi all, the Darlington model railway club meets on Monday nights from 7.30 at the Head of Steam Muesum, North Road. We currently have the following layouts. Burtree O gauge. Fictitious North-Eastern country station. The name; Burtree was chosen as it is a local point associated with the Stockton and Darlington railway, on the main line between Darlington North Road and Heighington, where there was originally a gated level crossing, now replaced by a bridge. The operating period was set to be between LNER 1945 and British Railways 1960. Rookhope Mining Company O16.5 layout New 4mm layout. (yet to be named) Based on the banks of the Clyde in Scotland and will be DCC and set in the 80's. Plenty of Blue diesels with sound Please check out the website for more information on the club and what we are upto. www.darlingtonmrc.co.uk We also have a facebook page, just search for Darlington Model Railway Club We welcome prospective new members, you can either contact us through the website or pm me on here and i will answer any questions you may have cheers Simon Chairman DMRC
