Burkitt
I currently have on order from Shapeways an N scale 1995 stock driving car in Frosted Ultra Detail, which should hopefully be arriving within the next few days. Below are the final versions of the computer model in Sketchup. Since this could potentially go in at least two of the new groups I'll leave it where it is for the moment and post a link here to the existing topic http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/37685-n-scale-london-underground-1995-stock/page__p__402005__fromsearch__1&do=findComment&comment=402005 . Atso
Hi Paul, for some reason I don't think I posted on you original thread. Just fantastic modelling especially for Sketchup!
backofanenvelope
Yes I would echo Steve's comments, as I have always found curves in Sketchup problematic, however seeing a number of renditions on here has made me go back to the eDrawing board for another look.. RMweb Premium Kris Posted June 16, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 16, 2011 It was this that inspired me Paul. I hadn't realised the possibilities or the relative costs.
