2mm Andy
Tom, I'll be there at least one day, helping on the 2mm Roadshow. I'm not sure which day yet - I'd like to visit Kirkby Stephen station and the Stainmore 150 celebrations as well if I get a chance! A number of the 2mm North East Area Group will be at Railex NE with layouts (Fence Houses, Wansbeck Road, Percy Nook) as well. Andy

Chris_nicole
I'm hoping to get there on the Saturday. I might even have a wagon or two looking for a chance to roll! Regards, Chris
Chris_nicole
The missus and I had a great time at Railex. Met up with Chris and Andy on the 2mm Roadshow and Bob on Fencehouses. Saw some very impressive layouts in all scales. I especially enjoyed the North Eastern theme of this show.. The missus is now building her own 'orribly oversized' layout following extensive consultation with modellers at Railex! 2mm Andy
Nice to meet you and your wife too, Chris. I agree that it was a very good show. How is the NER van coming along? Andy
Chris_nicole
Andy, The NER wagon has been sitting on my workbench as I concentrate on Jenn's layout. We got the baseboard painted last night, looking at tracklaying soon. As I need to solder a few more drop wires, I may get a bit of solder on the wagon too while the iron's hot. I did find a nail with a square point for the next time I need to punch bolt heads through etchings Before the show on Saturday, we were watching dolphins or porpoises swimming off Whitley Bay!
