Earl Bathurst
Hi I have an LGB template for the track sections available from the company. The area i am trying to create a track plan for is 16ft x 10ft but what scale should I use to draw the plan out. Should it be something like 1inch is equivalent to 1ft? RMweb Gold Donw Posted October 24, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 24, 2011 How big is your bit of paper? If you have the room 1/8th scale or 1.5in to 1ft allows easy measurement down to 1/2inch. you would need a sheet 24inx 15in. Half that at 1/16th you need 12x7.5 alternatively mixing scales 24mm to 1 ft can be easier than 1in to 1ft to measure the inches whilst 12m to 1ft needs a piece only 192mmx 120mm Don
RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted October 25, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 25, 2011 The template I've seen was 1:10scale so 16 feet would be 488mm and 10 feet 305mm. Just checked online and 10010 & 10015 templates are both 1/10th scale and they even have instructions! http://www.champex-linden.de/lgb_produktdatenbank_d-e/medien.nsf/medien/F1969A8D2535D3A285256CD90065BA56/$FILE/10015_022003.pdf
