RMweb Gold TomE Posted March 24, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 24, 2014 Just to follow up on the fitting of a DCC chip to the 3F, I picked up a Zimo MX621N at AP and simply by bending the pins through 90 degrees it *just* fits without any further modifications to the chip or model. Interestingly, it ran reasonably well before any of the CVs had been changed to improve the low speed running, whereas all of the other coreless locos have run like dogs until the CV settings have been adjusted.
