Etched Pixels
The latest item off the workbench. Most of these vehicles became electric trailer cars in southern days. There is something about short bogie stock that adds character to a layout.
Gareth Collier
Yep, another one of Alan's cracking etches, a godsend for pre grouping in 'N'. Below is a link to both of his SECR kits. http://www.ngaugesociety.com/uploads/images/AMMC/AMMC2013/ClassM-Winner-2013L.jpg Gareth
Etched Pixels
I took a look at lining mine and decided to run away !
Gareth Collier
To line them I use Fox LMS yellow/black/yellow lining trimming off the outer 2 lines. Tedious but you do get a thin even line.
mikeandnel
Pity that you are modelling 'N' gauge or I could post some of my 'EM' gauge eforts with SECR Carriages to join in. Michael
Gareth Collier
Don't see it being a problem Michael, it may encourage Alan to produce some more in 'N' Gareth

Michael Would love to see them whatever the scale. And Gareth - more SECR on the way for the end of the year - although I suspect the 'continental' stock is a bit late for you. mikeandnel
For Etched Pixels and Gareth As you requested below are some photos of my efforts at building and lining SECR carriages. Kits are Blacksmith & Branchlines. All are in EM gauge and lining was done with a bow pen. Transfers are mostly PC Models Methfix. Hope this encourages more people to produce similar in N gauge.
