Narrow Gauge South West at Shepton Mallet

Does anyone know whether the Narrow Gauge South West exhibition in Shepton Mallet will be running this year?

According to their website at http://www.ngsw.org.uk/html/exhibition_dates.html it will be on February 20th, but the site doesn't look as if it has been updated since before the 2008 exhibition. Only one layout is listed as invited to the 2010 show.

I've tried emailing the exhibition secretary via the address on the contacts page, but have not received a reply.

I enjoy my annual visit to Shepton Mallet, but don't really want to make the two hour bus journey only to find that no one else has turned up!

I've just received a reply to my email to the show organiser Howard Martin. He has confirmed that Narrow Gauge South West is going ahead as advertised on 20th February. He also sent me the poster for NGSW https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B8QoiG7hIbXFY2QzMDMzOWQtMWM0YS00ZjU0LWJjMDctNmU1MmQ1MTUyNGUw&hl=en

Well I just got confirmation for Rhatia, getting a bit worried I'd imagined it as nothing from Howard turns out he missed me off the final mailing shot by mistake.

Day after I get paid too so that's going to be good wink.gif

Looks like 009Matt's East Hants Light Railway and my Lynnbottom will be there as well (late entries!)

Looking forward to seeing Rhatia and catching up with you, Burkitt! (You managed to avoid being photographed with me at Warley by taking the photo, IIRC!)

The S&DRG site has been updated with the confirmed layouts, there are also pages for 2011 & 12 labelled up with 2010 only the link button tells the true story if you hover over it.

I had a great time at NGSW on Saturday. Pempoul was a particular highlight among the many impressive layouts, and I also really liked the "what if?" model of the electrified PB&SSR.

I've put a video of a selection of the layouts on Youtube, and below are a few of the photos I took as well.
