Guest david1950
Hello,I'm David, I'm new to the forum, I was recommended to RMweb by a friend. I used to have a tri-ang train set when I was younger. But only recently got back into the hobby, when my son bought me a ratio goods shed kit for christmas and my wife given me a small Hornby sentinel loco for valentines day. (I think they're all against me! haha) At the moment I been collecting a few Model Rail magazines.I hope to build a layout soon modelled on the china clay area in Cornwall as that's where my parents taken me on holiday. I've Always had fond memories of that area so I'm hopping to get a few sections of track and a baseboard to get me started in the spare room!Just thought I might introduce myself on here.Dave

RMweb Gold SHMD Posted February 17, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 17, 2014 Hi Dave and welcome, Model railways have changed a lot since Triang days! Mainly in detail, product/model availability and control. The other thing that has changed since then in the how the web has made searching/communicating so much easier - RMweb for example. Enjoy your stay in RMweb land and please keep us informed of your progress. There's nothing like starting a thread to show your progress to help spur you on! Kev.
