Kettlebaur Posted May 23, 2014 Share Posted May 23, 2014 Hi I've done a fair bit of searching, online and in print, and can find very little about the historyof public address (Tannoy) systems for station announcements. Does anyone know when public address systems became common on main line stations and, more specifically if / when a PA system was used at Birkenhead Woodside, Rock Ferry and Chester General?
