Industrial units.

Given there is no such thing as a 'standard' industrial unit, I would suggest you have a look at a few real ones and see what sort of size would fit the location you have in mind on your layout.

 

You don't mention what scale you are working in, this is useful information to anyone wanting to give an answer.

As has already been said. Vuisit an industrial estate near you. there must be one that has units like you require. You never know a business may even let you take some measurments. If you dont feel like walking, try using google maps.

try looking on google images to get some ideas, as for sizes they vary so much it depends on what the unit will be used for, if it has multiple floors, if plant machinery is to be used. You could also take into consideration the age of the building and other uses it may have had, like former mill buildings which have been redeveloped into several smaller units.
