backofanenvelope
Apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere but I have searched here and google and can find no info on the sleeper spacings for plain and turnouts. I am planning to build some pcb switches and would like to use prototypical spacing but may revert to getting digicalipers out and measuring the PECO track I have. Any help and advice greatly appreciated. Tom
RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted June 5, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 5, 2014 Off the Grischun forum and see the Ferro Suisse plans in the Drawing and plans section on said forum. Quote:- "For the ties 605mm, the absolute minimum of 570mm applies everywhere except at the rail joints. In curves the distance is determined at the position of the outer rail.
