joejab95
Hi all, I've been slowly working on this layout for a little while alongside my main layout. I love the atmosphere that you get with the London Underground and I've tried to capture it as well as I can. Theres still quite a bit of work to go but hopefully you can see it taking shape! Mike Storey
Nice idea. Based loosely on Queen's Park?
MattWallace
Looks excellent - replace the shed with a station and you've pretty much got Ealing Broadway there! Are the EFE models motorised? If so, which ones are they please? Thanks, Matt
joejab95
Yes, one pair of the EFE models are motorised. I bought them direct off Metro Models, I would love to get some later stock though to fit in with the scene and I wouldn't mind the battery locos either (guilty pleasure of a modeller there, buying more trains that are required!) I'll get some more pics uploaded soon!
joejab95
A couple of close up snaps. I havn't been able to do much on the layout at the moment but I'm desparate to get some time on it again and get some more bits done! The roof on the shed is a priority along with the bridge over the mainline. More to follow soon! A little bit lost from the Birmingham Snow Hill lines, but its a personal favourite! Hopefully you can just about see a little bit of scenery that I have added since the last post!
joejab95
Completed shed! Note that the third rail extends into the shed aswell!
