DaveArkley
Does anyone know if the new class 25 uses the same mechanism as the 24? Since the class 24 is about the best running loco I have; rather all three of them are ; it would be great if Farish had reused the mechanism. RMweb Gold Revolution Ben Posted August 9, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 9, 2014 Hello Dave Yes, the chassis is largely comprised of the same components as the 24. The centre fuel tank moulding is different. cheers Ben A.

Roy L S
Just read the review in the Sept RM (subscription copy) it looks very nice indeed people's "niggles" notwithstanding, and knowing how well the Class 24 runs, this is going to be a popular model for sure. The weathered BR blue one they picture in RM looks delightfully workstained and slightly grubby - just how I remember them, and may have to be a "Rule 1" purchase! A weathered BR Green one though most definitely has my name on it! Roy
