Irishrailwaymodeller
Members of this forum may be interested in my home/exhibition OO gauge multi-era Irish layout "Ballybeg" featuring DCC sound equipped locomotives. It has been exhibited 9 times including South Dublin Model Railway Club, St Josephs Wexford and Wexford MRC Festival Exhibitions. It has won Best Scenic and Best in Show Awards along the way. The layout normally resides in my (former) study room and is easily dismantled for exhibitions. Irishrailwaymodeller
Just something magical about your layout Gerry. Thanks for that. I have also recently completed an N gauge UK outline DC exhibition layout based on a might-have-been restoration of Llangollen station in NE Wales. This may be of interest to readers of this forum also: http://irishrailwaymodeller.com/showthread.php/3054-Llangollen-in-rmweb

kirley
Pictures taken with the Autumn sun highlighting brings aspects of the layout to life. Every picture has to be studied to discover all the little subtle touches from the 'clearance boards' to the inspection pits in the Engine Shed. Hope to see it in reality some day. Irishrailwaymodeller
The setting autumnal sun strikes the viaduct/pub end of Ballybeg: 085 draws its MK3 passenger carriages across the viaduct passing 185 as it approaches the bridge with a heavy load for Irish Cement. Bill Poster is hard at work on the Railway Bar as the party gets going in front of it. A couple of other locos and Irish Cement "blues" lurk in the shadows also...
