robbarry Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Hi - any help would be appreciated. Im trying to fit black cat lighting strip so that it will toggle on off to me decoder - no luck i'm afraid. I've wired the green and yellow wire to the strip but it doesn't work. This I think is a function and one of the outputs. Anybody have any photos or diagrams to help? johnpeter3 Posted June 5, 2015 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Green and yellow are both function wires and are the same polarity, so there won't be any current flow with that - I'd select green and blue (blue being a common positive for all functions) and that should then usually work on decoder function F1. Be very careful wiring up the contacts on the LED strip if they specify which polarity is which as if they are the wrong way round this may blow the LEDs. Blue is positive, green is negative.
