Museum of Science and Industry (Manchester)
Manchester Mini Maker Faire
The Manchester Mini Maker Faire is a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness - a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.
We are calling all Model Railway Builders, We are looking for specialist model builders to demonstrate their skills at the museum over the weekend.
The Manchester Mini Maker Faire will be interactive and educational in all kinds of ways. It is not a passive sit-down experience; it’s a hands-on experience that you grab hold of. From simple conversations and detailed explanations to amazing do-it-yourself demonstrations, the Manchester Mini Maker Faire will be all about participation and sharing.

By 7013,
Quibbles: I know you have to rent the floorspace by the square metere, but it got a bit crowded at times between stalls/layouts.
Positives: Lots of good trade support, some superb layouts, and very helpful friendly staff.
Warley was always going to be a hard act to follow, and the organisers did well.
I can see this growing in the future
