Lawlogg will be holding a general OPEN DAY at its Bootle clubrooms on Sat. 16th November from 10-4. (Suggested last admission at 3).
All four of our layouts will be operating. (Feel free to bring locos/stock to run.) Admission is free but cash donations would be welcomed. (Sorry - we don't have a card reader!)
It is anticipated that there will also be some small demonstrations of electronic/computer applications in model railways from the Merseyside Area Group of MERG (The Model Electronic Railway Group), which meets monthly at Lawlogg. Additionally, members of Lawlogg should be on hand to explain techniques used in painting & lining rolling stock and in scenery construction.
NOTE: Because of safeguarding requirements, children (and 'vulnerable adults') MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/carer.
Visitors are recommended to read the (very!) detailed driving maps and public transport info. page on our website, if unfamiliar with the area.

WMRA Annual Exhibition
By Robin Brasher,
Excellent show. plenty of free parking, over 30 layouts, lots of traders and full catering. I liked the scenery on the illustrated 009 gauge Feorag layout set in an imaginary island west of Cornwall. TT:120 seems to be well received with two small oval layouts on display.

Macclesfield Model Railway Group's Annual Exhibition ( PLEASE NOTE: NEW VENUE!!!! )
By Merfyn Jones,
I was there for a MBF meeting/exhibition last Saturday. Excelent hall with all the facilities you need.
The bus from the station was a very good help for those that want to come by train rather than drive.

Swansea Model Railway Exhibition
By Cymru Rails,
The Swansea Railway Modellers Group does an excellent job every year with this one, and it is well worth attending. It always features a fabulous set of layouts, traders, and societies on display. If you weren’t able to attend this year, check out my video to give you an idea of what to expect at the show and make sure to attend in 2026: Swansea Model Railway Exhibition 2025
