Huddersfield Railway Modellers Annual ExhibitionHuddersfield Railway Modellers are holding their annual exhibition in Holmfirth Civic Hall on Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th of October. There is a free vintage bus service provided from Huddersfield Railway Station to the venue. Many exhibits including Hebden Bridge, full trade support, new,second hand and kits and bits etc. First class refreshment facilities and in the centre of Summer Wine country with ecellent real ale pubs in the vicinity. Usually one of the best club shows in the North of England and well worth a visit

Eurospoor2011Model railway buffs should be getting ready for Europe's largest model railway event, EUROSPOOR, which takes place this year in the Jaarbeurs (trade fair centre) in Utrecht, the Netherlands on 28, 29 and 30 October 2011. A surface area of 23,000 square meters will offer visitors the chance to view over 50 model railways belonging to clubs from the Netherlands as well as other countries, extensive model train collections, model-making demonstrations, stands of representatives and retailers, a model railway market of 1000 meter length where train-lovers offer their used trains, accesories and collectors' items for sale or exchange.

Basingstoke & North Hants MRS Open Day, Sunday, 6th September 2026
I spent an enjoyable afternoon at this event today. The club members were welcoming and the set up is very good.
Pete's Royal Albert Bridge layout in N with a Peak crossing from the Cornish side with a parcels working.
Ian's 2mm FS dockside layout featuring working road vehicles and a narrow gauge factory line

Weston-Super-Mare Model Railway Show 2026
Great mix of layouts and trade,
....but the floorplan created real bottlenecks around the entrance which was also the route between halls (via the changing rooms!) and so was already going to be busy anyway. But there were further trade stands and coffee stand put there.... creating groups of people lingering and blocking...... why oh why!
The catering van outside - ended up giving up because as we all stood queuing to buy food, nothing happening in the van, there was a lot of playing with kids and babies but the 4 people there couldn't manage to free up one to take orders.
