Risborough & District Model Railway Club presents
RISEX 2011 Model Railway Exhibition
Saturday 26th of February 2011
10.00am - 5.00pm
Community Centre(adjacent to Springs swimming pool), Wades Park, Stratton Road, Princes Risborough, Bucks, HP27 9AX
The whole of the Community Centre in Princes Risborough is taken over one day in the spring each year. Allowing local modellers to display their layouts and model making.
Light refreshments will be available including LOTS of HOMEMADE CAKES.
Disabled access available.
Admission: Adults £2.50, Senior Citizens/Child £1.50

This is a brand new event and details are as follows:
VENUE: Richard Huish College, South Road, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 3DZ
DATE: Saturday 26th February 2011
OPENING TIMES: 10.00am to 3.00pm
ADMISSION: £2.00 ("Early-bird" tickets are also available from 9.00am for £3.00)
There will be an excellent selection of quality traders featuring model railways, diecast vehicles etc.
The Fair is all on the ground-floor, and the venue offers extensive FREE parking. There will also be hot & cold refreshments available all day. The venue is on the B3170 just to the south of the town and only a few minutes drive from Junction 25 on the M5. All will be very welcome!!

Saffron Walden Model Railway Club is once again proud to host our annual Model Railway show on Saturday 26th February 2011.
The venue is the URC/Salvation Army Halls, Abbey Lane, Saffron Walden, Essex. CB10 1AG
The opening hours on Saturday are 10:00 am - 4:30 pm
Prices: Adults £2.50, Children (5-16yrs) £1.00
Under 5's, disabled and one carer free of charge.
The halls are fully accessible to wheelchairs.
There will be a selection of hot and cold refreshments available all day.
Seven layouts in two halls covering a variety of scales and gauges.
Traders are Walden Models and Round In Circles.

*The event is taking place at Horsehay Village Hall and Telford Steam Railway, one ticket covers entry to all but the miniature railway. The two sites are a few hundred metres walk apart.

Quibbles: I know you have to rent the floorspace by the square metere, but it got a bit crowded at times between stalls/layouts.
Positives: Lots of good trade support, some superb layouts, and very helpful friendly staff.
Warley was always going to be a hard act to follow, and the organisers did well.
I can see this growing in the future
