Hi all,
Leyland MRC are holding their annual open day event at their club rooms in New Longton. The club layouts present are:-
Heatherley (N gauge modern image)
New DCC 00 modern image layout
DCC testbed (00 Modern image)
S & C inspired viaduct layout (00 finescale SR steam)
Thomas and Friends drive it yourself
Burnbeck (N gauge 1980s - present)
All the above will be running.
In addition there will be a trade stand offering supplies and tools.

0This is a family themed show utilising club and club member's layouts and guest layouts in various scales plus 009 gauge layouts courtesy of Merseyside & SW Lancashire 009 Gauge Society. There will be trade support , club shop and a refreshment service.
Admission price includes entry to the 009 Gauge Society Merseyside & SW Lancashire show - layouts, trade, demonstrations, society stand.

WMRA Annual Exhibition

Excellent show. plenty of free parking, over 30 layouts, lots of traders and full catering. I liked the scenery on the illustrated 009 gauge Feorag layout set in an imaginary island west of Cornwall. TT:120 seems to be well received with two small oval layouts on display.

I was there for a MBF meeting/exhibition last Saturday. Excelent hall with all the facilities you need.
The bus from the station was a very good help for those that want to come by train rather than drive.
