Details:
Informal group who meet to run coarse O gauge trains vintage or modern, clockwork or electric 12v and 20v. Visitors may bring their own locos, rolling stock and goods wagons to run on the group’s tracks so Hornby tinplate and Bassett-Lowke may run together with modern O gauge like Ace, Darstaed, Seven Mill. Main layout has four tracks in radii 27” (Atlas) 36” (tinplate ) and 49”".5” (Atlas). Mostly 3-rail but 2-rail running possible at our Dec 19th meeting. Our larger radius Atlas track will permit some fine-scale locos such as MTH. The main layout has no points. If you have a fine-scale loco which you think will run, do bring it along. Get in touch to check track-suitability if not sure.
The venue is spectacular and is next to the 82-arch, 1.2km long Harringworth railway viaduct. Possibly the most beautiful and picturesque model railway venue in England. Legendary home-made snacks with tea/coffee etc. A warm welcome awaits. No membership is necessary. At our last meet we welcomed members from HRCA, Bassett-Lowke Society and the Gauge 0 Guild and we saw modern RTR tinplate trains running alongside Hornby rolling-stock – ANYthing O gauge is most welcome. A warm welcome awaits new visitirs.
Meets are usually bi-monthly on the fourth Monday of the month in the even-numbered months.

By 7013,
Quibbles: I know you have to rent the floorspace by the square metere, but it got a bit crowded at times between stalls/layouts.
Positives: Lots of good trade support, some superb layouts, and very helpful friendly staff.
Warley was always going to be a hard act to follow, and the organisers did well.
I can see this growing in the future
