This year the organisers are expecting the largest selection of specialist suppliers ever seen at the show, currently 44 trade exhibitors are confirmed to be attending. This will be THE place to visit to stock up on all the materials and models that any model rail enthusiast could ever need.

There will also be over 30 layouts on display depicting American, Continental, BR Steam and Modern Image layouts as well as four of the leading societies for N Gauge enthusiasts.

There will also be a very special private collection of Lonestar Models on display for visitors’ enjoyment, this will be located next to the American Lonestar layout “Charlieville”.

This is a hugely popular specialist railway exhibition which totally focuses on N Gauge. Nowhere else can you see and enjoy the N Gauge scale in such volumes of either layouts or exhibitors making it the only place to see all things N Gauge.

    • Robertsbridge Model Railway Show 24-25 May 2025
      By clogger,
Good little show. Bit biased though as I’m exhibiting at the show and have done so for a couple of years now.

    • Gauge O Guild Winter Show
      By LAWLOGG Editor,
A few words about the show, some pictures of us setting up our stands (and, more significantly, a comprehensive video of the attendees) are available at this link.
    • The National Festival of Railway Modelling @ NEC
      By 7013,
Considering this is the first show by BRM I thought they did a reall good job.
Quibbles: I know you have to rent the floorspace by the square metere, but it got a bit crowded at times between stalls/layouts.
Positives: Lots of good trade support, some superb layouts, and very helpful friendly staff.
Warley was always going to be a hard act to follow, and the organisers did well.
I can see this growing in the future
    • Tyneside Model Railway Exhibition
      By jacko,
Drove down from Lanark early on Saturday morning (6 hour round trip!) to arrive shortly after 10am.  The first surprise was seeing my cousin showing his O gauge layout in the foyer (shown as east Glasson port authority on the programme but it wasn't that). Nice to have a chat with him as we've not met for a couple of years. Moving on to the main halls, there seemed to be plenty of space for viewing, helped no doubt by my being there so early. I'd driven down especially to see Grantham, Pelaw and Fencehouses having seen them in the mags and I wasn't disappointed so spent at least an hour swapping between the three. All three layouts exceeded expectations but it was also great to see Richmond in the flesh, it having only just appeared in print last month. I saw Alston in Glasgow in February and there's been no drop in quality. However,  my favourite (and I'm probably biased as I'm modelling the s&c) was Kirtley Bridge - what a superb layout, the quality of modelling and the atmosphere was outstanding. I think I spent around 3 hours at the show and was absolutely wrecked by the time I got home but it was well worth it. I'll be watching out for next year's dates to make sure they're kept clear.
      Graeme
