16 November 2019 10:30 16:30
Each November, the South Hants Model Railway Club hosts the annual Portsmouth Model Railway Exhibition.
Please note: The SHMRC portsmouth Exhibition is NOT connected to the Victory Club Exhibition (4th/5th April 2020).
Our venue is the Admiral Lord Nelson School on Dundas Lane, Portsmouth, between 10:30 and 16:30.
Not only is this the longest running model railway show in the area, but it is rapidly gaining a national reputation as an exhibition that shows the very best of this fascinating hobby.
Each exhibition has a carefully chosen selection of top-class model railway layouts and demonstrators. We are supported each year by a loyal band of traders and ‘gauge’ societies.
Full details of layouts, traders, demonstrators and societies, plus details of how to get there, can be found on the Club's website - https://www.shmrc.org.uk/exhibition/

0We bring the Society’s Wycrail exhibition experience, with a high standard of quality and inspirational layouts, once again to a “small and friendly” venue, with the second show in 2025 as ‘MRX25 – Autumn‘, building on the success of the Society’s Clubroom Open Days – popular with locals and experienced modellers alike.
2025 is the 200th anniversary of the birth of the modern railway. Britain and the world changed forever. Railway 200 celebrates the past, present and future of rail. We at the High Wycombe & District Model Railway Society are pleased to be supporting Railway 200 with our two exhibitions during 2025 and other activities.
We’re delighted to be working once again with our sponsors, AGR Model Railway Store and The Transport Treasury.

WMRA Annual Exhibition
By Robin Brasher,
Excellent show. plenty of free parking, over 30 layouts, lots of traders and full catering. I liked the scenery on the illustrated 009 gauge Feorag layout set in an imaginary island west of Cornwall. TT:120 seems to be well received with two small oval layouts on display.

Macclesfield Model Railway Group's Annual Exhibition ( PLEASE NOTE: NEW VENUE!!!! )
By Merfyn Jones,
I was there for a MBF meeting/exhibition last Saturday. Excelent hall with all the facilities you need.
The bus from the station was a very good help for those that want to come by train rather than drive.
