Ebor Group of Railway Modellers - Annual Model Railway ExhibitionThis is the 9th annual Ebor Group of Railway Modellers show. It is held in aid of York Against Cancer and is sponsored by Monk Bar Model shop. The charity supports the show by providing refreshments. We pride ourselves on offering a small, intimate show, where we display layouts from the club, members and local friends. As well as Monk Bar Model shop we are also joined by other traders and demonstrators.
It is held in Heworth Church Hall, Melrosegate, York, YO31 0RL. Open 10 'til 5 on Saturday and 10 'til 4 on Sunday. £4 Adult, £1 Child
There will be seven layouts:

THE SHOW FOR THE RAILWAY MODELLER

By Rail - Nearst railway station is Cambridge North - then either two stops on the Guilded Busway or 25 mins walk.

Basingstoke & North Hants MRS Open Day, Sunday, 6th September 2026
I spent an enjoyable afternoon at this event today. The club members were welcoming and the set up is very good.
Pete's Royal Albert Bridge layout in N with a Peak crossing from the Cornish side with a parcels working.
Ian's 2mm FS dockside layout featuring working road vehicles and a narrow gauge factory line

Weston-Super-Mare Model Railway Show 2026
Great mix of layouts and trade,
....but the floorplan created real bottlenecks around the entrance which was also the route between halls (via the changing rooms!) and so was already going to be busy anyway. But there were further trade stands and coffee stand put there.... creating groups of people lingering and blocking...... why oh why!
The catering van outside - ended up giving up because as we all stood queuing to buy food, nothing happening in the van, there was a lot of playing with kids and babies but the 4 people there couldn't manage to free up one to take orders.
