This is the 47th Gravesham Annual Model Railway exhibition organised by the Gravesend Railway Enthusiasts Society; and the sixth at the fully accessible site of Northfleet School for Girls, with free parking on site. Close to the A2 and Bluewater/M25, there will be over 16 model railway layouts in N, HO, OO and O Gauge; over 10 trade stands and a few preservation/society stands - including the Class 315 preservation society. There will also be a children's author, with occasional readings, sketching demonstrations and competitions; plus a children's activity area. There will also be 'a load of balls'. Not sure what that entails, well there's only one way to find out. Hot and cold food and drinks will be available; and the infamous roast dinners during Sunday lunchtime.
All of this for just £5 for adults and free entry for accompanied under 16s.

NMRA BR Convention, open to the general public on Saturday 5 November 2022. Being held at the Wychwood Park Hotel, Crewe CW2 5GP, free parking. There will be 8 layouts including HO & N scale American, TT scale British plus traders and book seller.
Admission is £10 for non-members and £5 for NMRA members. Join on the day and get £5 off membership.

The HRCA Cornwall Area group are holding a 2 day show at Heartlands, Robinson's Shaft, Dudnance Ln, Pool, Redruth, West Cornwall.

I am sorry to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, this years RailEx has had to be cancelled. The National Brewery Centre site will close on 30th October and be turned into office accommodation by the owners, Molson Coors.
Thank you to all exhibitors, traders and visitors who have supported us since the first show in 2011.

Being held again at The Seaglass Centre, Thorpe Hall School, Wakering Road, Southend on Sea, Essex SS3 9SF.
on 2nd & 3rd August 2025 open from 10am both days, closes 5pm Saturday and 4pm on the Sunday
We will be listing the booked exhibits for the show in the next couple of weeks.

0Twickenham & District MRC are re-launching their annual G Gauge Event on August 2nd. The club has always had a strong G gauge following and at the moment we have seven dedicated G gaugers and we're looking to attract a few more.
The Event will run in our clubrooms from 1pm to 5pm and will feature our G gauge layout RIVER STREET GAS WORKS, plus our G gauge circular test tracks PLUS we will be setting up three G gauge tracks in the field alongside our clubrooms for LIVE STEAM RUNNING!!!
Anyone reading this is welcome to come along and bring stock to run. There is no charge for the G gauge event, but there will be a BBQ available on the day which we will need to charge for if you want to partake.
PLEASE send me a PM if you wish to take advantage of the BBQ as we want to make sure that we have enough food on site to cope with demand.

02025 marks our third annual Models Weekend
On the 9th & 10th August, join us at Market Bosworth Railway Station on The Battlefield Line Railway for an impressive display of model railways from N to 7 1/4" scale, a variety of trade stands and also the latest models on show from Bachmann Europe!

0Brighton MRC will be holding one of their occasional sales day on Saturday 16th August 2025. It will be from 1000 to 1400 at the Clubrooms on London Road railway station, Shaftesbury Place, Brighton BN1 4QS.
There will be a large selection of preowned Model Railway items including locomotives, rolling stock and accessories, mainly OO gauge.
No charge for admission.
There will be refreshments available
If you are thinking of joining the club this is an ideal opportunity to see the facilities and what we do.

The National Festival of Railway Modelling @ NEC

Considering this is the first show by BRM I thought they did a reall good job.
Quibbles: I know you have to rent the floorspace by the square metere, but it got a bit crowded at times between stalls/layouts.
Positives: Lots of good trade support, some superb layouts, and very helpful friendly staff.
Warley was always going to be a hard act to follow, and the organisers did well.
I can see this growing in the future

Tyneside Model Railway Exhibition

Drove down from Lanark early on Saturday morning (6 hour round trip!) to arrive shortly after 10am. The first surprise was seeing my cousin showing his O gauge layout in the foyer (shown as east Glasson port authority on the programme but it wasn't that). Nice to have a chat with him as we've not met for a couple of years. Moving on to the main halls, there seemed to be plenty of space for viewing, helped no doubt by my being there so early. I'd driven down especially to see Grantham, Pelaw and Fencehouses having seen them in the mags and I wasn't disappointed so spent at least an hour swapping between the three. All three layouts exceeded expectations but it was also great to see Richmond in the flesh, it having only just appeared in print last month. I saw Alston in Glasgow in February and there's been no drop in quality. However, my favourite (and I'm probably biased as I'm modelling the s&c) was Kirtley Bridge - what a superb layout, the quality of modelling and the atmosphere was outstanding. I think I spent around 3 hours at the show and was absolutely wrecked by the time I got home but it was well worth it. I'll be watching out for next year's dates to make sure they're kept clear.
