Venue: Seaboard Southern clubrooms, Crawley. 2 minutes from junction 11, M23. From M 23 junction 11, follow the A23 (Brighton Road) towards Crawley. Just after half a mile, turn right at the traffic lights into the K2 Sports Centre. Then, after about 40 yards, turn right into Tilgate Forest, proceed over the narrow bridge, turn right under the 2nd yellow height barrier (signposted huts 9-16), then turn left, we are the 2nd hut on the left. Post Code RH10 5PQ.
Open: 10.00 – 16.00 both days
Admission: Free
Amenities: Refreshments, free parking, good disabled access (help available as one step to climb).
Features: – Large twin level HO layout and N gauge layout operating trains. Club members available to discuss existing and future plans incorporating continental mid-week club evening.

Admission is Adults £5.00, Children £2.00 Family (2+2) £11.00
Layouts of various scales and sizes. Trade support, Refreshments.
Reading Buses routes 17 and X1 stop close by. This event is held on two floors and there is no disabled access to the first floor. Limited parking on site.

0In support of the Risborough Festival on Saturday 11th July 2026, the Risborough & District Model Railway Club will be holding an Open Day at the Princes Risborough St. Mary's Hall (Church Street) from 10:00 to 16:30. We plan to part exhibit our new O gauge layout project, as well as our Test Track for members of the public to test their rolling stock on. There will be second hand sales, refreshments and some modelling displays. Admission is FREE.

Weston-Super-Mare Model Railway Show 2026

Great mix of layouts and trade,
....but the floorplan created real bottlenecks around the entrance which was also the route between halls (via the changing rooms!) and so was already going to be busy anyway. But there were further trade stands and coffee stand put there.... creating groups of people lingering and blocking...... why oh why!
The catering van outside - ended up giving up because as we all stood queuing to buy food, nothing happening in the van, there was a lot of playing with kids and babies but the 4 people there couldn't manage to free up one to take orders.

SOUTHAMPTON MODEL RAILWAY SHOW -JANUARY 24TH/25TH 2026

Despite South West Trains' best efforts I managed to get to the exhibition on time. I had my doubts when they announced at Southampton Central Station that my train would be running non stop to Waterloo but I got on a Cross Country train that stopped at Southampton Airport. The pictures show:
1. My arrival at the exhibition on a heritage bus provided by the organisers.
2. There were a lot of people at the exhibition and a huge queue for the coffee machines. There seemed to be more people there than in previous years.
3. Essence of Ventnor in 0 gauge was one of the splendid layouts there. I saw it last year at the Brockenhurst exhibition.
4. Seaton Junction in 00 gauge was another interesting layout. There was an N gauge model of Seaton Junction at Pecorama that it donated to our model railway club so I found it interesting to see Seaton Junction in a larger scale.
I was not so lucky with my return journey as South West Trains was unable to run any trains from Southampton Central to Bournemouth and Weymouth so I ended up having to catch a taxi to Bournemouth.

WMRA Annual Exhibition

Excellent show. plenty of free parking, over 30 layouts, lots of traders and full catering. I liked the scenery on the illustrated 009 gauge Feorag layout set in an imaginary island west of Cornwall. TT:120 seems to be well received with two small oval layouts on display.
