    04 November 2023 10:00      05 November 2023 16:00

Whether you’re young or young-at-heart, our show will offer plenty of entertainment. We have Windmill Hill, a layout that children can drive, and other interactive attractions (including colouring in using non-toxic crayons and model kit building), among many railway layouts and displays; plus, a selection of trains, books and other items to buy. Also, children's author, Simon Hall, will be joining us over the weekend. There will be over fifteen layouts including: Gordon's Lane, Gravesend West, Lanscombe Lawn Railway, Lenham, N in a box, New Bridge Street and Swanswell NSE; plus a good selection of traders and societies.

Close to the A2, Ebbsfleet station and Bluewater, our venue has: Free on-site parking, a regular bus service that stops nearby, wheelchair access and the usual friendly atmosphere.

Adults pay £5 while Children (Under 16), accompanied by an adult, continue to join us for FREE.

An extensive range of hot and cold food and refreshments will be available; plus on Sunday we will aim to serve roast dinners with all the trimmings between 12-2pm: Beef, Turkey plus a vegetarian option.

Ebbsfleet railway station is only 17 minutes from Central London, 10 minutes from Stratford International and Gravesend railway station is 11 minutes from Dartford. Northfleet School for Girls is about 2-3 minutes’ drive from the Northfleet turn-off from the A2.

Bus routes 481 & 483 serve Gravesend town centre, Ebbsfleet station and Bluewater shopping centre and stop near the school on both days. Other regular bus services stop close to Northfleet School for Girls. As last year, anyone who presents their Arriva bus ticket to the pay desk can obtain a free tea/Coffee/Cold drink.

    • Robertsbridge Model Railway Show 24-25 May 2025
      By clogger,
Good little show. Bit biased though as I’m exhibiting at the show and have done so for a couple of years now.

    • Gauge O Guild Winter Show
      By LAWLOGG Editor,
A few words about the show, some pictures of us setting up our stands (and, more significantly, a comprehensive video of the attendees) are available at this link.
    • The National Festival of Railway Modelling @ NEC
      By 7013,
Considering this is the first show by BRM I thought they did a reall good job.
Quibbles: I know you have to rent the floorspace by the square metere, but it got a bit crowded at times between stalls/layouts.
Positives: Lots of good trade support, some superb layouts, and very helpful friendly staff.
Warley was always going to be a hard act to follow, and the organisers did well.
I can see this growing in the future
    • Tyneside Model Railway Exhibition
      By jacko,
Drove down from Lanark early on Saturday morning (6 hour round trip!) to arrive shortly after 10am.  The first surprise was seeing my cousin showing his O gauge layout in the foyer (shown as east Glasson port authority on the programme but it wasn't that). Nice to have a chat with him as we've not met for a couple of years. Moving on to the main halls, there seemed to be plenty of space for viewing, helped no doubt by my being there so early. I'd driven down especially to see Grantham, Pelaw and Fencehouses having seen them in the mags and I wasn't disappointed so spent at least an hour swapping between the three. All three layouts exceeded expectations but it was also great to see Richmond in the flesh, it having only just appeared in print last month. I saw Alston in Glasgow in February and there's been no drop in quality. However,  my favourite (and I'm probably biased as I'm modelling the s&c) was Kirtley Bridge - what a superb layout, the quality of modelling and the atmosphere was outstanding. I think I spent around 3 hours at the show and was absolutely wrecked by the time I got home but it was well worth it. I'll be watching out for next year's dates to make sure they're kept clear.
      Graeme
