Brighton Model Railway Club 44th annual exhibitionOur 44th annual exhibition will be held on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November 2024.
Open 1000 to 1700 Saturday and 1000 to 1600 Sunday.
Patcham Community Centre, Ladies Mile Road, Brighton BN1 8TA.
Details of Layouts, Traders and Exhibitors will be added when available.

Nottingham MRS Autumn ShowNottingham MRS are holding our Autumn show at the Richard Herrod Centre, Foxhill Road, Carlton, Nottingham NG41RL on Saturday and Sunday 16 & 17 November 2024. 11 Layouts in scales including N, 2FS, HO, OO and O, plus narrow gauge. Full trade support including TTC, Booklaw, Anoraks Anonymous and Mount Tabor Models.
Opening times 1000 - 1700 Saturday, 1000 - 1600 Sunday.
Free parking, level access throughout, refreshments.
Admission £7, under 16s free.

Thornbury & South Glos MRC Annual ExhibitionThe Thornbury & South Gloucestershire MRC will be holding their annual exhibition over the weekend of 16th & 17th November 2024 at Turnberries Community Centre, Bath Road, Thornbury, Bristol BS35 2BB.
Opening times: Saturday 10 – 5, Sunday 10- 4.
Admission: Adults - £8 Child (5 – 16) - £3 Family (2 + 2) - £18.

N Gauge Society Newport South Wales Open DayFoolishly our area groups exhibition manager (that would be me) has decided to put on an open day for the club.

Date will be the 16th November and will be and so far 8 layouts are attending including

Liverpool and West Lancs. 'O' Gauge Group - OPEN DAY (Bootle)Lawlogg will be holding a general OPEN DAY at its Bootle clubrooms on Sat. 16th November from 10-4. (Suggested last admission at 3).
All four of our layouts will be operating. (Feel free to bring locos/stock to run.) Admission is free but cash donations would be welcomed. (Sorry - we don't have a card reader!)
It is anticipated that there will also be some small demonstrations of electronic/computer applications in model railways from the Merseyside Area Group of MERG (The Model Electronic Railway Group), which meets monthly at Lawlogg. Additionally, members of Lawlogg should be on hand to explain techniques used in painting & lining rolling stock and in scenery construction.
NOTE: Because of safeguarding requirements, children (and 'vulnerable adults') MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/carer.
Visitors are recommended to read the (very!) detailed driving maps and public transport info. page on our website, if unfamiliar with the area.

Basingstoke & North Hants MRS Open Day, Sunday, 6th September 2026
On Sunday, 6th September we will be opening the doors of our clubhouse for the second of this year's two Open Days, an informal session open to the public.
All the club layouts will be there and also some of our members' own layouts in 2mm, N, 00, 009 and 0 covering a number of eras, so about 10 in total (7 of which have been exhibited at our and/or other model railway shows) and a couple of local traders too, more than you get at some exhibitions but with free entry!

Londons Transport in miniature Sunday 6th Sept N1 6DA

The MRC together with their friends at the London Underground Railway Society are organising a one day mini-exhibition featuring London Underground modelling.
The event will have a selection of model railway layouts, displays, demonstrations and manufacturers present.
Hopefully the day should be an ideal chance to see current strands of Underground modelling and engage with those exhibiting as well as seeing a range of models from RTR, kit built and 3D printed examples across a range of scales and eras. There will definitely be prototypes from 1890s to current Piccadilly 2024 Stock on display! But equally important it should be a chance for both societies to attract new members as well as a rare chance for like minded modellers to meet up and socialise. We trust members will patronise the event and assist to bring it to the attention of any friends that maybe interested.
It will be held at Keen House, London N1 9DA between hours of 11.00 and 16.00.
Tickets on the door to the public will be £12.00 for adults , accompanied 5-16s £6. For members of both LURS and the MRC entry will be £10.00. MRC members will need to show their membership card and LURS members should bring an UN delivery envelope to gain the discounted ticket price on the door.
The MRC snack bar and licensed bar will be open throughout the day selling teas, coffees, soft drinks, snacks, rolls and with a full alcoholic bar offering too.
