Shildon Model Railway Club Spring ExhibitionThis will be our second Exhibition at this venue. It is served by Northern Rail to Newton Aycliffe and has access from the Station Platform. Also buses from Darlington and Bishop Auckland 5 & 5A are within close proximity.. Full disabled access with free parking. Restaurant and bar facilities are available.
We have quality layouts from across England and Scotland. We also have a web page shildonmodelrailwayclub.co.uk where you can view the layouts and traders attending. The Exhibition opens at 10am both days and closes at 17-00 and 16-00 respectively

HULL MODEL RAILWAY SHOWThe Hull Model Railway show will take place in a NEW VENUE and a NEW TIME OF YEAR on Saturday and Sunday 1 & 2 June 2024 at Princes Quay Shopping Centre in Hull City Centre. HU1 2NL. 18 Working layouts, 10 Trade Stands (including the legendary Hull Secondhand stall), Demonstrations and "Have a Go" layouts for children. The show is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible . Princes Quay has its own car park, is adjacent to stops for many bus routes and is just a few minutes' walk from Hull Paragon Interchange.
Admission is just £5 for adults and £1 for children under 16. Under 5s are free.

Exmoor Rail 2024 - Sat 1 June, 1000-1630, Minehead, TA24 6AYThe Exmoor Coast Railway Modellers are proud to present our annual, 1-day exhibition, Exmoor Rail, on Saturday 1 June 2024 in Minehead. Over the years Exmoor Rail has built a reputation for quality layouts, traders & demonstrators.
This year, Exmoor Rail will be on Saturday 1 June, 2024 from 10:00 through to 16:30, at The West Somerset College, Bircham Road, Minehead, TA24 6AY. Car parking at the venue is free and hot & cold refreshments and light meals will be available.
Our local college is a modern building and the venue is all on the ground floor. Free car parking on-site is easily accessed from the A39 main road. Look for our "Train Show" signage on the A39 from either direction at Minehead and our yellow banner near the car park entrance.
This is our group's 12th annual exhibition, the organisers have over 30 years experience arranging such events and have an excellent reputation for selecting high quality layouts, plus wide and varied trade support.
The Exmoor Coast Railway Modellers hope you can join us in Minehead, on the edge of Exmoor, to help us make Exmoor Rail 2024 yet another quality, fun and friendly event.
Entry is £7 adult, £3 under 16, £14 family (2 adults plus children under 16) and this year we will be accepting card payments.

There will be three rooms being used but I'm afraid the upper room is not accessible to wheelchair users.

Bring your O, OO, or N gauge locos and trains to run on our club’s three test tracks.
DC and DCC is available, but sorry no “live steam”.
Our Test Track Open Day is not an exhibition, but a chance to meet fellow modellers and try out your models.
Expert help is on hand from knowledgeable club members if you have any problems with your models, and we very much welcome new members should you wish to join the club.
Refreshments will be available all day.

Vintage Model railway ShowAfter last years very successful combined show, the Trix Twin Railway Collectors Association , the Bassett Lowke Society and The Train Collectors Society are holding a second joint vintage train show at the very popular Gaydon Motor Museum in Warwickshire just 10 minutes from junction 12 on the M40, CV35 0BJ
This will be a larger event than 2023 held at the Motor Museum including many layouts and exhibits from N gauge to Gauge 1 in most of the major UK ‘collector’ makes, including Trix, Bassett Lowke, Triang, and Hornby ( Liverpool ). Around 25 traders will have a wide selection of trains old and recent. There is plenty of free parking and a cafeteria. Disabled compliant.

Basingstoke & North Hants MRS Open Day, Sunday, 6th September 2026
On Sunday, 6th September we will be opening the doors of our clubhouse for the second of this year's two Open Days, an informal session open to the public.
All the club layouts will be there and also some of our members' own layouts in 2mm, N, 00, 009 and 0 covering a number of eras, so about 10 in total (7 of which have been exhibited at our and/or other model railway shows) and a couple of local traders too, more than you get at some exhibitions but with free entry!

Londons Transport in miniature Sunday 6th Sept N1 6DA

The MRC together with their friends at the London Underground Railway Society are organising a one day mini-exhibition featuring London Underground modelling.
The event will have a selection of model railway layouts, displays, demonstrations and manufacturers present.
Hopefully the day should be an ideal chance to see current strands of Underground modelling and engage with those exhibiting as well as seeing a range of models from RTR, kit built and 3D printed examples across a range of scales and eras. There will definitely be prototypes from 1890s to current Piccadilly 2024 Stock on display! But equally important it should be a chance for both societies to attract new members as well as a rare chance for like minded modellers to meet up and socialise. We trust members will patronise the event and assist to bring it to the attention of any friends that maybe interested.
It will be held at Keen House, London N1 9DA between hours of 11.00 and 16.00.
Tickets on the door to the public will be £12.00 for adults , accompanied 5-16s £6. For members of both LURS and the MRC entry will be £10.00. MRC members will need to show their membership card and LURS members should bring an UN delivery envelope to gain the discounted ticket price on the door.
The MRC snack bar and licensed bar will be open throughout the day selling teas, coffees, soft drinks, snacks, rolls and with a full alcoholic bar offering too.
