The 40th anniversary of the Greenock MRC’s show which this year includes the debut of the new 009/00 layout “Minffordd” , the clubs’s latest layout “Inches”, showing a rural Lanarkshire / Ayrshire branch line just before the Beaching axe, and award-winning layouts from other local clubs, plus very competitive second-hand trade from Junction Box.

The 2025 Uckfield Model Railway Exhibition will once again be featuring a selection of some of the best quality layouts around. There will be full trade support as well as Demonstration and Society stands. Licensed Restaurant within the Civic Centre will be open throughout the weekend.
Incorporating Scalefour Southeast, a Scalefour Society regional event. Featuring the Society's Publicity Stand and the Scalefour Stores, along with associated P4 layouts and demonstration stands. Also attending is the 2mm Scale Association Roadshow with 2mm finescale layouts and their information and demonstration stand.
Public access to the Civic Centre is via either the free High Street car park (Civic Approach), or the Tesco Superstore. The venue is also only three minutes walk away from both the railway and bus stations.

West Cornwall Model Railway Exhibition, Pool, Redruth.Cornwall 0 Gauge Group is holding its annual show at the Carn Brea Leisure Centre, Station Road, Pool, Redruth, Cornwall TR15 3QS on Sunday 19 October 2025 from 10.00 to 16.00
This will be a multi scale show with 15 layouts booked to date of which 7 are 0 Gauge, including a vintage Hornby clockwork and Dublo 3 rail layout from the Cornwall HRCA group.
There will be the bring and buy stand plus good trade support.
Free parking nearby, Light refreshments will be available to purchase in the exhibition hall. Tickets are £7 Adult and £10 Family

Basingstoke & North Hants MRS Open Day, Sunday, 6th September 2026
On Sunday, 6th September we will be opening the doors of our clubhouse for the second of this year's two Open Days, an informal session open to the public.
All the club layouts will be there and also some of our members' own layouts in 2mm, N, 00, 009 and 0 covering a number of eras, so about 10 in total (7 of which have been exhibited at our and/or other model railway shows) and a couple of local traders too, more than you get at some exhibitions but with free entry!

Londons Transport in miniature Sunday 6th Sept N1 6DA

The MRC together with their friends at the London Underground Railway Society are organising a one day mini-exhibition featuring London Underground modelling.
The event will have a selection of model railway layouts, displays, demonstrations and manufacturers present.
Hopefully the day should be an ideal chance to see current strands of Underground modelling and engage with those exhibiting as well as seeing a range of models from RTR, kit built and 3D printed examples across a range of scales and eras. There will definitely be prototypes from 1890s to current Piccadilly 2024 Stock on display! But equally important it should be a chance for both societies to attract new members as well as a rare chance for like minded modellers to meet up and socialise. We trust members will patronise the event and assist to bring it to the attention of any friends that maybe interested.
It will be held at Keen House, London N1 9DA between hours of 11.00 and 16.00.
Tickets on the door to the public will be £12.00 for adults , accompanied 5-16s £6. For members of both LURS and the MRC entry will be £10.00. MRC members will need to show their membership card and LURS members should bring an UN delivery envelope to gain the discounted ticket price on the door.
The MRC snack bar and licensed bar will be open throughout the day selling teas, coffees, soft drinks, snacks, rolls and with a full alcoholic bar offering too.
