N gauge Bus Kits, from K&B, Beaver and Thameside

Recommended Posts

Hello

I am after help with some N gauge kits that our Club has been left, these I believe are quite old, the following we have include:

K&B, BUT Trolley Bus Kit

Beaver, RT Bus Kit

Thameside, RF Bus Kit

I would like help in finding out what dates these models would have been available? are they easy to assemble?, and how much are these worth?

I have looked on the web but I cannot seem to find any thing

Thanks

Hi Ant,

They have a place in the history of road vehicles being available for N.

All three were makers who supplied the only N kits for road vehicles at the time.

We are talking early to late 70's for all three.

From memory the Beaver RT was either £1.79 or £1.99

The Thameside RF was a bit more but I didn't buy one to know for sure.

The K&B BUT trolley bus is a comparative rarity as I only remember it being available for a couple of years.

None of them will be hard to build.

As for current value?

That will be up to the buyers!

All had reviews at some point in time - but I can't remember which mag.

Possibly Constructor as there was sometimes a road vehicle feature in it.

Thanks
