RMweb Premium Mike Bellamy Posted June 14, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 14, 2015 I realise that this news has already been mentioned in Chris's 1366 build topic but I had original missed it there and have now been following up on the posting on the Gauge O Guild Forum. See here for post by Mike Bragg http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/87758-agenoria-wr-1366-pannier-for-pencarrow-bridge/page-46&do=findComment&comment=1921794 I have now had the opportunity to look at the Facebook page and some of the other comments there. There was a discussion on the Guild site a while ago about using the Guild's resources to rescue businesses that are closing down - but this one has been valued at £50,000. Mike says that by just closing down he will save £20000 by not spending time on development work that generates very limited sales. Says that his last 3 kits did not cover the development costs. Rather surprised to see that he sells more at 'general' shows than at Guild events - kit sales were 2 at Kettering, 1 at Leigh and 2 at Cleckheaton which meant he didn't cover his costs to be there - stand fees, accommodation, van hire etc. More details here including how he arrived at the valuation of the business https://www.facebook.com/pages/Agenoria-Models/639414449498262?sk=timeline&ref=page_internal .
