k-59
Well here it is, a Single Line Terminus loosely based off the end off of the Westchester branch of the Chicago L system (http://www.chicago-l.org/stations/22nd-mannheim.html) I'l be back with better pictures. Including of a 3d printed model of a 4000s series which I'm touching up the paint on now. EDIT: The link to my first picture broke so I replaced it with a better one. This an overall shot with the staging lid off.
k-59
A couple of points worth mentioning: It's N-scale. I should have mentioned this at first, but I am one of those persons who think N-scale stands for normal scale. The track is Unitrack with ballast on the sides. The backstage area in the upper left corner is a styrene lid sitting on styrene walls and wood support posts. The area is enough to hide the car (as long as you don't look directly that it) and the wires to the track. I really should have made it bit longer so it's easier to stop the car before it reaches the end of track. I consider the railroad complete, although they are some details I'd to add. k-59
As promised some close up shots of the line and car. Close enough that you can see my horrible painting skills.
