Hornby Duchess

I recently purchased a Hornby City of Liverpool 4-6-2 and found it will not run through my 00-SF turnouts, although it ran on the test track at Hattons. All my other locos (mainly Bachmann) work well on my trackwork. I measured the B2Bs of the Duchess and they were in the range 14.2 to 14.3something. I reported this to Hattons and they were very helpful. They checked their stock of City of Liverpool locos and found they all had B2Bs too small for 00-SF. I'm very reluctant to attempt moving the driving wheels on their axles and even more to rebuilding all the turnouts. Hattons are very helpful and I'll go over and swap the Duchess for a something that will work.
