RMweb Gold astropsidings Posted September 12, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 12, 2015 I've put a few pictures of the Beeches Light Railway's Simplex on Flickr (https://www.flickr.com/photos/69051105@N02/albums/72157658469927122) I believe this loco is a Simplex "replica" rather than original. Does anyone know if this is indeed the case, or anything else about it? Thanks.
2mm Andy
According to the UK Locos website, it is Motor Rail 21619 built in 1957 and came from L&P Peat near Carlisle. Alan Keef Ltd regauged it and fitted a new engine before it went to Adrian Shooter's railway. Andy
