MikeOxon
I am currently building a model of an early GWR Passenger Brake Van, based on the photograph taken at New Milford (Neyland) in 1873, presumably just after gauge conversion at that location. It is an earlier type than diagram V2 (dating from 1876), for which I know that a kit is available from the BGS. There are at least three of these vehicles visible in the photograph and the one in the foreground is shown enlarged in Great Western Way (1st ed. p54). From that enlargement, I can almost make out the number - possibly 254 but far from certain. I f anyone knows the actual number and/or number groups used for similar vehicles, then I shall be very grateful for more information. Mike
