Jol Wilkinson
With the increased footfall will there be a change in venue? Regards An easier solution might be to make a two day show. That would increase the costs somewhat, but as exhibitors' travel costs are already accounted for, it shouldn't be too great an increase. Visitor numbers would also have to go up, as would traders rent, but it could work. More specialist trade (Roxey, Dart Castings, SEF, Gramodels, etc.) would be worthwhile, although there might not be enough space. I think it was a very good show, worthy of two days to give it more exposure.
Tim V
A two day show would also mean those layouts (I can think of one I know about well...) that can't do one day shows would be able to come. However, a two day show does not mean twice the footfall. Other costs would be there like accommodation for the extra night. So economically, it may not be practical.
