Simon Moore Posted September 29, 2015 Share Posted September 29, 2015 I'm fiddling at the minute with a mercian 7mm quarry hunslet & the motor/gearbox are noisy. I accept that there all metal gears in a metal kit but it seems there is something possibly wrong. I have 2 mercian models both 7mm narrow gauge & there both noisy. I recently had the same issue with a london road gearbox but that was down to the mesh not being inline & was soon silenced. I've not built either of the narrow gauge models & wondered if anyone else had had this problem & how they cured it. Cheers Simon Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
