RSS Fetcher Posted February 28, 2010 Share Posted February 28, 2010 I've always admired the Cromptons- both in prototype and model form. Before thinning out, I used to have a stud of 3 Heljan models. After browsing Ebay- I picked up a fairly cheap Fragonset 33 in the form of 33103. With a plan set, I wanted to put in to practice the enhancements made by folks such as Pugsley and James Hilton. Here it is, with the front end detailing fitted and the bogies painted Matt Black. So, what's next? Well- the bogie spring modification once I've sourced some plasticard.
