hartleymartin
I've purchased an A1 Terrier with the intention of doing a conversion to an NSWGR N67 "Aussie Terrier" However, I've got No. 40 "Brighton" with the Parish Exhibition lettering and I cannot bring myself to sandpaper off that paint and lining job. I am given to understand that these have sold out and are thus unobtainium. So, I am prepared to swap it for another A1 Terrier (not an A1x type) such as the Bodiam Blue version. It needs to be an A1 type for the conversion job I'll be doing. Just so I lay all the cards on the table: The two tank vents have broken off and one of the number plates has fallen off the bunker side. I have put these in a zip-lock bag inside the box. Please drop me a PM if you're interested. PS. - To the forum moderators - for some reason, I cannot gain access to the classifieds section, so I put it here. Andrew Young
When I went into my local model shop last week, the Tutbury Jinny, they had two of the Brighton locos on their shelves so they are still available, though just possibly not from certain large retailers in the North west of England. Cheers, Andrew
hartleymartin
If it is not sold out I feel a tiny bit better about repainting mine.
