But first... does anyone know how to remove the bogies from the chassis on a Bachmann Class 20? It's not at all obvious and the means doesn't appear to have been posted on here. Bulges in the gear tower mouldings engage in recessed guides inside the block casting. (Think that's the arrangement, long time since I had to do it!) I didn't want to force anything, best to know in advance. For anyone else needing to do this, there isn't much slack on the pick-up wires, so it's a good idea to remove the bogie drive shafts from the top of the chassis block first.
