muddys-blues
Hi, is there anybody out there with in depth knowledge of the 4 wheeler Maunsell Luggage Vans, did they make it to the Blue Parcels period like some of their other Southern Cousins ? I've Googled and Gargled on the web but not to much avail.
Adam
Do you mean the SECR versions? If so, yes, but not in traffic use, they served the engineers by that stage. At least two are preserved, one on the Bluebell, another on the KESR. A *book* can supply all the answers: David Gould's SR non-passenger coaching stock (Oakwood Press). The differences between the SR builds and the SECR run to a few side vents and some variations in the brakegear. Adam
